GET TO KNOW ME

Hello! I’m Alex, a licensed clinical psychologist supporting women and girls across Massachusetts and New York. I work with clients at all stages of life—from adolescence and early adulthood through motherhood and beyond. Whether you’re navigating identity, anxiety, depression, relationships, or major life transitions, I offer a safe, collaborative space for healing and growth.

My style is warm, flexible, and tailored to your needs. I blend feminist and relational therapy with techniques from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and behavioral medicine. Whether you’re seeking an open, conversational space or a more structured, skills-based approach, I’ll meet you where you are—with compassion and the occasional touch of humor when it’s needed most. I lead with empathy but also believe in gently challenging my clients when it helps move them forward.

I work with teenage girls, college students, young professionals, and women across the lifespan. Many of my clients grapple with self-doubt, perfectionism, relationship challenges, or major life shifts. I also have a particular passion for supporting women through the perinatal period—including fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to motherhood. My own experiences with infertility, birth trauma, and postpartum depression and anxiety have profoundly shaped this work and led me to pursue advanced training with Postpartum Support International. I know firsthand how isolating this journey can feel, and I’m here to help you navigate it with confidence and care.

I grew up in New York City and attended an all-girls school where the motto was, “Not for school, but for life we learn.” That philosophy still guides me today. I see therapy as more than problem-solving—it’s about building insight, resilience, and tools that last long after our sessions end. My time in that environment also instilled strong feminist values and a deep appreciation for the unique challenges women and girls face—values that continue to shape my work every day.

I currently live in Boston with my husband and our two sons, balancing the demands of family life with my commitment to supporting others. Though I’ve made Boston my home, I’m still a New Yorker at heart—bringing the city’s energy and resilience into my work. With both personal experience and clinical expertise guiding my approach, my goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. Wherever you are in your journey—you deserve support, and I’m here to help.
